This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Loyalist Township (the “Township”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Consulting Services for the Redevelopment of Township-owned Lands – Church Street, Bath, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The project includes the rezoning and Official Plan amendment of Township-owned surplus lands on Church Street to facilitate residential development including uses by the County of Lennox and Addington and Habitat for Humanity for affordable housing projects. The scope of work includes the preparation of a draft plan to subdivide the property for affordable and market housing projects, rezoning and OP redesignation including all associated studies, and the development of detailed design for servicing and access plans for the site to allow for all approvals and tendering of the construction works. The aim of this study is to optimize the use of the property to support the goals of the Township’s Housing Accelerator Fund Action Plan while ensuring that the plan aligns with the community’s social, economic and environmental needs.
